The Gipsy Kings Get Royal Treatment!

When internationally-acclaimed recording stars The Gipsy Kings arrived in the
Seattle area for an August 5th concert, they called on their longtime friend,
Paule Attar. “The phone rang at seven a.m.,” Paule says. “They wanted to come in
for services the same day. Of course, I said yes.” The eight Kings arrived at ten
and Paule mobilized her staff to fit the men into an already busy schedule. “They
asked for haircuts, manicures, facials, massages, the works,” says Paule. “It was
crazy, but fun.” The grateful Kings, with 15 albums to their credit and over 20
million in sales worldwide, invited the entire salon and spa staff of forty to
attend their evening concert at Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery, along with some lucky
Paule Attar clients.
